Mission

At the American Dermatology Initiative, we believe that everyone deserves access to quality dermatologic healthcare - regardless of geography or circumstances. Our pro bono teledermatology clinic connects underserved communities overseas with board-certified dermatologists, residents, and medical students to provide timely remote consultations.

Our initiative is rooted in the belief that telemedicine can be more than a convenience - it can be a bridge to care. By leveraging simple, secure digital tools, we bridge the gap between patients in remote or crisis-affected regions and the dermatologic care they need. We are actively developing sustainable systems for triaging, documenting, and following up on cases, with the goal of delivering consistent, high-quality care in  challenging and changing environments.

We are committed in our endeavor to expand access to care, healthcare reach, and providing solutions to barrier of care.

Beyond patient care, we are building a collaborative space for medical education and mentorship. Our model empowers medical students and residents to take part in meaningful clinical experiences under the guidance of experienced dermatologists. Through case discussions, feedback, and cross-cultural learning, we hope to inspire a new generation of globally-minded physicians committed to equity in healthcare.
